Year 7 Trip to Hagg Farm
In early March, over eighty Year 7 pupils spent three days experiencing Outdoor and Adventurous Activities at Hagg Farm in the Derbyshire countryside.
The pupils experienced a range of activities including abseiling, caving, a local walk, some orienteering around the centre and various team building tasks. Mission Impossible proved to be a popular night time activity with the staff winning once again to maintain their unbeaten record in this much loved game of stealth.
Despite the difficult weather conditions, the pupils worked really hard and showed outstanding commitment to their learning. They developed a wide range of skills such as teamwork, communication, leadership and resilience and conquered some of their fears along the way.
Thank You and Well Done
Thank you to the staff for giving up their time to allow the trip to go ahead, and well done to all of the pupils for their behaviour and conduct during the trip which made the trip a pleasure to be part of. We will be back again next year for sure!
