Trinity Sixth Form
Sixth Form Outdoor Activities
For a few days, a group of Sixth Form students used the Youth Hostel at Youlgreave, Derbyshire, as a base for a number of adventurous outdoor activities.
Accompanied by Mr Harbage, Dr Mulligan and Mrs Marsden, they took part in a night walk (surrounded by the piercing eyes of 100 sheep), abseiling, canoeing, caving and gorge walking. The weather was fine although it proved a little chilly in the water!
It was a fantastic trip and a great way to make new friends and experience lots of new and exciting activities.
On arrival at the Youth Hostel, the students quickly got into the spirit of team work, unpacking the mini bus and helping to cook a tasty dinner of spaghetti bolognese - Mr Harbage's secret recipe!
In the mornings, the breakfast team were up at 6.30 am to rustle up a hearty cooked breakfast as well as cereals and toast.
