Egg-citing Physics Challenge
On Friday 8th March, four Year 10 teams took part in a physics challenge at Nottingham High School. They competed against three other schools to make an exciting experience for a bungee-jumping egg.
A Cracking Good Time
The day was spent working out the best elastic cord to use, exploring Hooke's Law, producing calibration graphs, and extrapolating data. The pupils calculated the optimum cord length for an egg-citing but safe jump for the egg!
There were two challenges and Trinity placed in both. They were 2nd place in the first challenge and 3rd place in the second challenge. There was no foul play, and they all had a cracking good time!
