Years 7 and 8 Social Action Project
During May half-term, a group of Trinity pupils went on a residential course coordinated by Notts County F.C.
The three day trip developed communication, team work, decision making skills and confidence. The pupils took part in a number of activities, including Buggy Building, Zipwire and Archery at the Kingswood Centre near Doncaster.
The Notts County F.C. local action project brings young people together to promote cultural awareness and to create better citizens and ambassadors of Nottingham who contribute more to the local community.
Pupils were selected based on their positive attitude, resilience and contributions to Physical Education and extra-curricular PE at school.
Helping the Local Community
The pupils will now identify and deliver their own Social Action Project. It will be relevant to the young people themselves and beneficial to the local community.
