The girls were victorious against Hinckley Grammar School in the semi-final to set up a repeat of the 2016 final. The team battled hard but were eventually beaten by Rushcliffe School to finish Midlands Runners-up.

The Year 10 Boys Handball Team were once again in excellent form, finishing top of their group, winning every game in order to qualify for the final. A superb team performance saw them run out convincing 4-1 winners against Hinckley Grammar School to be crowned Midlands Champions.
