Born for This
During the season of Lent, a group of twenty pupils helped perform a presentation of the Stations of the Cross.

Rugby City Champions
Both the Trinity Year 7 and Year 8 Boys rugby teams were crowned City Champions in March.
Battlefields Literature Trip
Two Y8 pupils and one teacher visited the First World War battlefields of the Western Front on an English Literature tour.
Lent Fast Day
On Friday 15th March, many pupils and staff gathered at lunchtime for the CAFOD Lent Fast Day liturgy.
Junior Team Challenge
On Wednesday 20th March, four Trinity students took part in the UK Mathematics Trust Maths Challenge Regional Final.
On Ash Wednesday we prayed together, received the ashes and, following Church teachings, didn't eat meat.
Music Bursary Award
The European String Teacher Association awarded a Trinity Year 8 pupil a music bursary in London on March 6th.
Trinity's whole school show, Oliver!, was performed by a large cast over three nights in February.
Y8 Handball County Success
The Trinity Year 8 Boys Handball Team became County Champions at a competition on February 8th.
A group of 44 students and 5 teachers traveled to Belgium and France to see the battlefields and graves of WW1.
Y8 Boys Football Success
The Trinity Year 8 Boys Football 5–a-side team recently won the Nottingham City tournament at Harvey Hadden.
On Thursday 6th December, Trinity held its Presentation Evening to celebrate the achievements of the previous year.
Year 8 Handball Success
On Monday 3rd December, the Year 8 Boys Handball Team won the City Handball Competition at Harvey Hadden Stadium.
On November 8th, over 150 pupils from local primary schools joined Trinity musicians for our annual Joint Schools Music Festival.
To mark Remembrance Day and the centenary of the end of WW1, Trinity held a liturgy on the 9th of November.

To mark the centenary of the end of WW1, pupils of all ages have made poppy key fobs or bag tags in DT.

On Thursday 26th October, pupils from Year 7 to Year 10 took part in the House Dance Competition.

Mental Health Day
Trinity School students and staff supported World Mental Health Day on Wednesday 10th October.
Day of Languages
For The European Day of Languages our German visitors taught lessons for Year 7 and 8 pupils.
NYO - Play the School
National Youth Orchestra musicians visited Trinity for their Play the School event on Monday 17 September.
A project called Urban Gongs visited Trinity on the 16th and 23rd of July to work with pupils in Years 8 and 10.
School Barbecue Day
On Thursday 19th July, Trinity took advantage of the glorious weather to have its annual barbecue.
Summer Performance Evening
The Drama Department held a Performance Evening with pupils from Trinity Theatre Youth Group and Musical Theatre Club.
On Tuesday 10th July, the Trinity Music Department held their Summer Concert in the Sports Hall.
The Big Push
For Activities Day, a small group of pupils chose to spend the day learning about the First World War.

The final of Trinity's Got Talent 2018 took place on Thursday 12th July in the Kingsbury Hall.
Year 8 Retreat Day
Year 8 pupils spent Tuesday the 12th of June off-timetable to take part in their retreat day.

National Handball Finals
In June, Trinity U13 Boys and U15 Boys represented the East Midlands in the prestigious Schools Handball National Finals.

Two Trinity teams have qualified for the National Handball Finals to be held at the Worcester Arena in June.

Easter Egg Raffle
Trinity's annual Easter Egg Raffle took place in March, with all proceeds goings towards the pilgrimage to Lourdes.
On Wednesday 28th March, two groups of Trinity dancers performed at Oakfield School for seven visiting schools.

Congratulations to the four pupils from Years 8 and 9 who took part in the UK Mathematics Trust Junior Team Challenge.
On Friday 9th March, some of Trinity’s flautists took to the stage in the Drama Studio to showcase their playing.
The Great Big Dance Off
On March 5th, Trinity pupils performed in the East Midlands heat of The Great Big Dance Off, at The Albert Hall.
Ski Trip to Artesina
Over February half term, 42 Trinity students from Years 8 to 13 went to Artesina in Italy on the school's annual ski trip.
In March, a group of Trinity pupils went to WE Day, at Wembley, to listen to a number of inspirational speakers.
