On Tuesday 21st May, thirty Year 8 pupils spent the day in a TV industry workshop called Let’s Pitch It!.

Sheku's Chart Success
Congratulations to ex-Trinity pupil Sheku Kanneh-Mason whose debut album Inspiration has charted in the UK Top 20.
A group of Sixth Form students stayed for an hour after school on Thursday 14th December to plan holiday revision.
Trinity into Warhammer Semi-Finals
On Saturday 18th November, two teams of Trinity pupils entered a Warhammer competition against other Nottingham schools.
Head Girl and Head Boy
On Friday 3rd November, Trinity chose a Head Girl and Head Boy for the first time in its long history.

From 8am on 17th August, the long and agonizing wait for the results for our Y12 and Y13 students was finally over.

The Welsh 3000s
Mr Miller led a team of teachers and students around the mountains in North Wales to raise money for charity.
Staff CPR Training
Mr Gayne delivered training on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to staff during the INSET on 12th July.
Year 11 Prom
On Wed 28th June, Y11 celebrated the end of their examination period with a Prom at the Novotel in Long Eaton.
The Big Dig
On Friday 16th June, volunteers dug in after school to help improve the entrance to Upper School Reception.
D of E License Presentation
On the 19th of June, Mr Miller and Mrs Latimer-Newnham attended a presentation for new DofE Directly Licensed Centres.
School Council Meetings
The Whole School Council met twice in the middle of June, with Mr McClafferty and with Mr Cummings, the chef.
Top Food Hygiene Rating
On 23rd May, Food Standards inspectors visited the Trinity kitchens and awarded us the top score of 5 stars.
On Wednesday 7th June, pupils voted in a mock election for the Trinity School constituency, with a Labour win.
Career Mark Award
Trinity is delighted to report that we have once again been awarded the Quality in Careers Standard.
Trinity has recently started a programme of potentially life-saving CPR training with its students.

On 16th May, 16 Y9 pupils visited the University of Nottingham’s Law and Social Sciences Department.

On Monday 20th March, Ms Wright, Mr Howell and a group of eight Sixth Form students visited the Houses of Parliament.
On Tuesday 14th March, Trinity was re-assessed for the prestigious Career Mark award.
Two pupils and Mr Manderson attended the Reaffirmation of the Commonwealth Flag, at the Council House.
The Big Assembly
On Tuesday 7th March, Years 7, 8 and 10 logged on and took part in The BIG Assembly.
The Trinity Association held its annual Quiz on Friday 3rd March, and it was another night of fun and fundraising.
On Saturday 11th February, Trinity's wargaming team advanced to the semi final of the school league cup.
