Lent Fast Day
On Friday 15th March, many pupils and staff gathered at lunchtime for the CAFOD Lent Fast Day liturgy.
On Ash Wednesday we prayed together, received the ashes and, following Church teachings, didn't eat meat.

Y11 Briars Retreat
A group of Year 11 pupils went to the Briars residential centre in Crich, Derbyshire from 28th to 30th January.
Time to Talk
This year’s Time to Talk Day was all about bringing together the right ingredients to have a conversation about mental health.
Sixth Form Mass
On Tuesday January 29th, Trinity Sixth Form pupils gathered together during form time to celebrate Mass.
During Advent, all Sixth Form students contributed items towards a huge collection for the homeless of Nottingham.
On Friday 14th December, Trinity's Sixth Form students raised £141 for the Save The Children Christmas Jumper Appeal.
Year 7 Advent Retreat
At the end of November, Y7 put on their Christmas jumpers and came off-timetable to explore the themes of Advent.
To mark Remembrance Day and the centenary of the end of WW1, Trinity held a liturgy on the 9th of November.
Sixth Form Open Evening
On the evening of Wednesday 17th October, The Trinity Sixth Form opened its doors to prospective Year 12 students.
MAT Launch Event
On 16th October, a group of Trinity Year 7 pupils went to an event to celebrate the Our Lady of Lourdes Multi-Academy Trust.
Trinity Open Evening
On Tuesday 2nd October, Trinity welcomed Year 6 pupils and their families to its annual open evening.
Mental Health Day
Trinity School students and staff supported World Mental Health Day on Wednesday 10th October.
Charity Coffee Morning
On Friday 28th September, the Sixth Form pupils held their annual Macmillan Coffee Morning.
A group of students and staff from Trinity joined with five other schools and departed for Lourdes on Saturday 14th July.
School Barbecue Day
On Thursday 19th July, Trinity took advantage of the glorious weather to have its annual barbecue.
Donating Maths Books
The Trinity Maths Department donated sets of A-Level textbooks to the Uboji Community Library in Nigeria.
Year 8 Retreat Day
Year 8 pupils spent Tuesday the 12th of June off-timetable to take part in their retreat day.
Three Peaks Challenge
On a hot day at the beginning of July, twenty Trinity Year 11 pupils tackled the Yorkshire Three Peaks.
Year 7 Charity Events
Over the months of May and June, Trinity Year 7 pupils raised money for the charity Lepra.
Year 8 Charity Week
In the third week of June, Year 8 pupils held their hotly anticipated charity events at Trinity.
Year 9 Mass
On the 8th of May, Year 9 pupils and form tutors gathered together for a special year-group mass.
Year 8 RE Lessons
During RE lessons, Year 8 have been looking at their faith and how it is relevant to them in today’s world.
Easter Egg Raffle
Trinity's annual Easter Egg Raffle took place in March, with all proceeds goings towards the pilgrimage to Lourdes.
In March, a group of Trinity pupils went to WE Day, at Wembley, to listen to a number of inspirational speakers.
Y9 Briars Retreat
On Friday 19th January, 39 Year 9 pupils headed off to The Briars Centre, in Crich, for a weekend retreat.
Yorkshire Charity Challenge
In July, a group of Y11 students will take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, to raise £500 for charity.
BHF Charity Collection
Staff and pupils raised funds for the British Heart Foundation before the Christmas holiday.
Trinity held its Presentation Evening, a celebration of hard work and achievement, on 6th December in the Sports Hall.
Giving for the Homeless
Throughout the month of December, Sixth Form students brought in food for the homeless of Nottingham.
In December, pupils in Years 10 and 11 brought in donations for The Trussell Trust foodbank appeal.
Christmas Jumper Day
On Friday 15th December the Sixth Form students turned out in fine style sporting their favourite Christmas jumpers.
Reverse Advent Calendar
10CK were one of the Year 10 forms inspired by Miss Coles' assembly to use a reverse advent calendar.
Year 7 Advent Retreat
At the end of November, Year 7 pupils had a day off lessons, to stop and think about the meaning of Christmas.
For National Kindness Week, students dressed and dedicated a 'kindness wall' in the Sixth Form block.
Every Tuesday morning a form group celebrates Mass together in the new Trinity chapel.
On Friday 10th November, Trinity held a remembrance service by the statue of Our Lady at the Beechdale Road site.
On Wednesday 18th October, Trinity School hosted the Catenians' Concert for Sick and Retired Priests.
Charity Coffee Morning
On Friday 29th September, Trinity Sixth Form held a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Sixth Form Activities
On the afternoon of the Trinity sponsored walk, the Sixth Form students took part in various activities.
On Friday 21st July, Year 8 pupils helped take a minibus full of clothes to the Sharewear Clothing Scheme.
A group of Y8 pupils met with a visitor to discuss how we can all get involved with more charitable events.
Pilgrimage to Lourdes
Thirty pupils and three staff from Trinity joined the youth contingent from Nottingham Diocese on pilgrimage to Lourdes.
The Welsh 3000s
Mr Miller led a team of teachers and students around the mountains in North Wales to raise money for charity.
On June 15th, Trinity hosted a Cupcake Day in support of the national event organised by the Alzheimer’s Society.
Year 8 Retreat
On Tuesday 20th June, all of Year 8 joined together for a retreat day on the theme of vocations.
St Barnabas Mass
On Friday 9th June, Y7 attended our annual St Barnabas Trust mass with Bishop Patrick.
Year 11 Liturgy
On the 9th May, Year 11 came together for a morning liturgy on the theme of perseverance.
