Trinity Year 9 pupils watched a display by a visiting Medieval Physician in July.

He explained humourial, miasmatic and religious causes of disease and illness and explained how patients could be treated. He was particularly grateful to the Sixth Form volunteers who were prepared to be operated on in front of an audience.

Operations included the fixing of broken bones, cures for headaches, post-amputation checkups, cures for Chlorosis, light dentistry and the importance of bleeding for patients health.
