Faith in Practice
Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
On a hot day at the beginning of July, twenty Trinity Year 11 pupils tackled the Yorkshire Three Peaks. The Three Peaks, all around 700m high, are Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
The group set off from school, travelled the two and a half hours up to the Yorkshire Dales, walked the 38km (24miles) and 3 mountains and returned home, all in the same day. It was a very impressive feat.
Quite a Challenge
It was a very hard challenge, with the hot sun beating down on the group all day. The group definitely kept the suncream companies in business!
The event was organised and led by Mr Miller and wouldn’t have been possible without Mr Harbage, Mrs Wisdish and Mr Wadsley.
All for a Good Cause
The group raised money for the Upper School charity, Angelmans, collecting over £750 extra so far.
