UNESCO City of Literature Ambassador Induction

On Wednesday 6th March, Trinity's three UNESCO City of Literature Ambassadors attended an induction morning. They met the other Young Ambassadors and talked about what the important role involves.

Jim Hall, the Project Manager, and Sandeep Mahal, the Director of the City of Literature event, lead an exciting morning of activities focused on promoting reading and defining what the role of Ambassador should be.

Literature Ambassadors present their ideas

The pupils really enjoyed meeting the other young people. They will review books, attend events, interview writers and be mentored in their own writing. They will be an integral part of promoting the City of Literature to the community. They had lots of original ideas about how Nottingham might be encouraged to read more.
